Students who do not meet the admission requirement in terms of the minimum TOEFL test score of 500 or the IELTS score of 5.0 will be conditionally admitted and attend the Intensive English Program (IEP) offered by the AUE English Language Institute (ELI) on condition that they must achieve the required score within a minimum period of 24 months.
During their enrolment in the English Language Institute, students are allowed to register in university requirement courses offered by AUE according to the following schedule:

Students who complete the IEP (ADVANCED) and do not achieve the score required for the English proficiency (500 in TOEFL OR 5.0 in IELTS), will be admitted to a TOEFL preparatory course for one semester and are entitled to register for maximum of 9 credit hours. Students who complete the TOEFL preparatory course and fail to achieve the TOEFL 500 can repeat the preparatory course without taking any credit courses till they achieve the TOEFL 500.
