This program in Digital Forensic Science (formerly called Computer Forensics) is the science and practice of preserving, acquiring, and analyzing digital evidence to support formal legal actions.
Digital Forensic is one of the growing professional fields within law enforcement agencies. Growing uses of computer and internet have detected several sophisticated crimes and frauds. These crimes have necessitated the introduction program in the field of Digital Forensic.
Digital Forensics is a combination of Cyber Law disciplne and Passive Security techniques applied for Event Invetsigation & Evidence Retrival.
The course is unique at the AUE as it is NOT offered by any other University in the region.
